Property & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations or Amendments

You must contact On the Strand using the details provided in your booking confirmation to cancel or amend your booking.

Cancellations

Our cancellation policy for any booking is 42 days (six weeks) prior to your scheduled arrival date.

• Deposits are non-refundable

• Cancellations within 42 days of arrival may be charged up to the full value of your stay

• We recommend referring to your travel insurance in the event of cancellation

Amendments

If you wish to amend your booking dates, we require at least 42 days’ notice prior to arrival.

• Your first date change will usually be accommodated free of charge

• A £25 administration fee may apply in some circumstances

Changes or Cancellations by On the Strand

If we need to make changes that significantly affect your stay, or cancel your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a refund.

This does not apply to minor changes or events caused by circumstances beyond our control.

We are not liable for cancellations due to failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions, or for any resulting costs or losses.

We reserve the right to end a stay immediately, without refund, if a guest behaves in a way that causes or may cause danger, disruption, or distress to others or the property.

Making a Booking

By making a booking, you confirm that:

• You are authorised to book on behalf of all guests

• All members of your party agree to these Terms and Conditions

Please check your confirmation carefully and notify us immediately of any errors.

We cannot accept liability for inaccuracies not reported within 7 days, or for incorrect information provided at the time of booking.

Payment

All payments are securely processed via Stripe.
We do not store or process card details on our website.

Compliance

• Severe weather

• Fire or natural disasters

• War or terrorism

• Industrial disputes

You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your party during your stay. Full payment for damages may be required.

Additional Requests

All special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Please provide reasonable notice before arrival.

Additional Guests

Only the number of guests confirmed at booking may use the property.

• Additional guests require prior written approval

• Extra charges may apply

• Day visitors are not permitted without consent

Commercial Bookings

Bookings are for personal use only (leisure and tourism).

Commercial use requires prior agreement and may include:

• Filming or photography

• Events (e.g. retreats)

• Corporate or business use

We reserve the right to amend or cancel bookings found to be commercial.

Insurance

You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate insurance cover.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Liability

Our liability is limited to services booked directly through On the Strand or its authorised agents.

We accept no additional liability beyond these Terms.
